Saturday September 9th Training

Hi Everyone, its still hot out there so we will once again start at 5:30 AM.  St George 15 miles, Revel Full 17 miles and Revel Half 8 miles.  Routes are posted and I will have hard copies if you want or need one.  There is an opportunity for anyone to do 2, 5, 7 or 10 miles if you want a shorted distance.  Lets treat the Saturday run like a dress rehersal.  Let's wear the same clothes, shoes, socks, etc... Use Glide as if it were race day and practice the same nutrition you would use race day.  Water will be available about every two miles. I have always found, if I have the mindset that I have all day to do my run and no pace is too slow, my run is amazing.  

Saturday September 2 Training

Hi Team training on Saturday will begin at 5:30 AM once again due to the heat. We will meet at Barons, on the corner of Rancho California Road and Meadows Parkway.  St George is doing 10 miles, Revel Full is doing 16 miles and Revel Half is doing 12 miles.  If you pre-ordered a shirt please pick it up or make arrangements with me to get it.  Our Train run is in three weeks, I hope you plan on joining us.

 

 

Saturday Training Reminder

Training starts at 5:30 AM tomorrow.  St George is doing a 20 miler, Revel is doing 10 or 15.  This picture is how I want you to do that run, everyone.   I have the team shirts, 10.00 for Tees and Tanks, 12.00 for Long Sleve.  Please stop by to pick them up.  All are welcome to do any distance.  

 

Carlsbad Half Marathon

Hi the shirts are in  Thank you to Tiana and Ray for the hard work on this.  I will have them in my car at training both Saturday and Tuesday the next few weeks.  I bough a few extras if you still want one but did not order.  Long Sleve are 12.00 and Tee's and Tank's are 10.00.

Anyone who wants to get stronger and faster please join us.  We meet at the corner of Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Sky Canyon, at 6:30 PM.  You can walk, run or just hang out.  All are welcome.  We are just runners supporting one another.

Our Routes are an out and back so you can do any distance.  Please review the routes and let me know if you have any questons.  Training will start at 5:30 this week because of the long distances.  You might want to start out with a head lamp.

Saturday August 19 TIME CHANGE to 5:45 AM

Hi Everyone training on Saturday will move from 5:30 AM to 5:45 AM due to the shortening daylength.  We meet at the Barons shopping center on the corner of Rancho California Road and Meadows Parkway.  The route will be an out and back so you can do any distance you like.  St Georre will pull back to 13 miles as you have a 20 mile run the following weekend.  Revel Half will do 11 Miles and Revel Full will do 17 miles.  If you are running AFC on Sunday I dont expect to see you at training.  All others do the distance you like.  Remember all are welcome, this group has no fees to join.  Bring a freind.
