GOOD LUCK
To those running Rock N Roll
Half or Full Marathon
If you are doing AFC you should run 7 miles this weekend for your long run. Revel Full should run 4 miles and Revel Half should run 2 miles. We will not be meeting on Saturday this week. Tuesday training this week will be at the track. I will post more about that on Monday.
Hi Everyone, we are just over a week away from race day, for some, how exciting and for others, how scary. We all have different reasons for racing next weekend. Some of us hope to PR, some of us are celebrating and some of us just want to have some fun being part of something bigger than ourselves. Whatever your reason, I sincerely hope you will take the time to think about how lucky we are to be able to do this, we are fortunate. Think about all we did along the way, the adventure, and most importantly, take time to enjoy yourself. Have fun.
Training this week will start at 6:30 AM at the Barons on Rancho California Road. The San Diego RNR Full has 8 miles, the San Diego RNR Half has 4 miles. For those training for AFC 6 miles. For all you Revel people just get out and do a few miles.
Routes will be posted soon. Good Luck to all of you doing San Diego Rock N Roll. With the wind at your back and cool temps, I hope your race will be amazing.
Training this weekend, Saturday May 19 will begin at 6:30 AM from the Barons on Rancho California Road. Rock N Roll Full will have 12 miles, Rock N Roll Half will have 7 miles and Americas Finest City Half (AFC) will have 5 Miles. Both the weather and the company will be amazing. I look forward to seeing everyone.
Invest in Yourself
Saturday training May 12 will start at 6:30 AM. At the Barons on Rancho California Road. The weather will be chilly this weekend so be ready for that. A thank you to Jayson for the water donation on Saturday. We will all savor that on our long miles when it gets hot.
San Diego RNR Full you have 20 miles, San Diego RNR Half you have 13 miles, AFC you have 4 miles. You are welcome to run any distance.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Routes will get posted soon.
Hi Runners, Tuesday training will be at the Track. We will meet at 6:30 PM at Temecula Valley High School, 31555 Rancho Vista Rd, Temecula, CA 92592. Its near the Ronald Regan Sports Park. If you are new to track work I will explain how it works and our first training will be doable for everyone. As Hill training makes you stronger Track work makes you faster. I hope you will join us.
Hi Everyone, a huge congratulations to everyone who ran the La Jolla Half Marathon last weekend. Everyone crushed it, a testimony to doing Hill Repeats. Great job everyone.
We will start alternating our long runs between Saturdays and Sundays. This will accommodate more people. Starting this week we will be meeting at Barons at 7:00 AM on Sunday April 29.
San Diego RNR Half will be doing 11 miles and San Diego RNR Full will be doing 16 miles. San Diego RNR Full will add 2 miles by running to the post office and back either before or after the route.
The weather is warming up and the sun is getting stronger. Please bring water and don’t forget to put your sun screen on.
Hi Everyone, Sat April 21 training will begin at 7:00 AM at the Barons on Rancho California Road.
Our distances are 20 miles, San Diego RNR Full 14 miles, 12 miles and San Diego RNR Half 10 miles, you can do any distance you like.
I will be at training to get anyone who shows up going and then I am leaving.
If you are car pooling to La Jolla we are meeting at Barons on Sunday morning at 4:45 AM.
No Matter how many miles you run, remember, you are still lapping everyone sitting on the couch or sleeping in.
